Burrillville Animal Shelter

Adoption process was easy. The people are great.

Have visited several times looking for a dog to adopt. Well maintained facility. On a previous visit I saw a dog I was interested in adopting and asked if I could go for a walk with him to see how we were with each other. It didn't work out but my thanks to the shelter for giving me the opportunity to try to bound with the dog. Lastly, our local government should alot some additional tax dollars to renovate this shelter.

I live on RT 7. We know how dangerous that road is. I had ferals being populated by a HUGE CAT that I named Pops. The town with the AOC and other staff helped me TNR them. He was making kittens from Tarkiln all the way up to the old Mill. How did he migrate so far? Well I am pleased to say he and his daughter....who had a litter of kittens, are now indoor cats in my home and do not want to go out. His pic was on their webpage. They went of and beyond and now it is a happy ending. I would post a pic but it won't post.....HUGE white shorthair with patches of orange.

Ir was nice to see the animal shelter and Ron was very nice it's under construction at the moment so they are in trailers. I saw where they keep the cats and dogs ea trailer. And the office in another one. The woman was nice to.

Nicest people and super compassionate.
