We took our Belgian Sheepdog puppy to Burrell Handling for training a few weeks after he was born. He was all teeth and exuberance. He is currently our only dog. We live in a leash-only neighborhood where he can't run around with other dogs and he badly needed socialization. We have had dogs of various breeds before and beyond 'come', 'sit', 'stay', had never explored a fuller range of behaviors possible with good training. We were also familiar with practices some trainers use to accelerate the training process. Burrell recommended leaving "Night" (he's all black) with them for a week to teach him obedience basics and expose him to pack behavior. The big difference with Burrell is that they make their training experience fun, loving, and respectful for all concerned. Burrell establishes
