Burdick Equine Veterinary Services

My farm has used has used Dr. Burdick for years and they have always been very attentive and caring. Also always very friendly. Most recently, I had them out to check out a lameness issue with my horse, and Dr. Tyler Burdick and his assistant, Stephanie were fabulous. He explained exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, what he was seeing and was extremely thorough throughout my horses exam. I've been lucky enough to not have to need a lameness exam before then, so I was unsure what to expect but they were so attentive and helpful and answered all questions before I could even think to ask! Highly recommend this practice, and both Dr. Todd and Dr. Tyler!

I’ve been using Burdick Equine for almost 10 years now. Dr. Marley and Dr. Burdick are extremely knowledgeable and always try to give me all of the possible treatment options. They are always willing to get on the phone and help me with any questions or concerns. I have never had a problem scheduling an appointment with them, their office is very quick to give a call back if they are busy. They also call with blood work/test results promptly! I think their prices are incredibly reasonable for the northern Virginia area but also for the quality of care you and your horse will receive. Burdick Equine also has a fantastic response time in case of emergency. My rescue mare who came from the Amish had extremely long, sharp teeth and most likely never had a float performed. Dr. Burdick performed a very effective float on my nervous mare and gave her vaccines. He knows how to handle an unsteady horse who does not like standing still, with compassion and he is highly skilled with equines. Well done vet!
