We have been coming to Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital for many years and have always loved the staff and doctors because of the care and love that they gave our two dogs, Daisy and Rico. Daisy was our sweet westie girl, and she passed away a a couple of years ago at the age of 16. Rico is our sweet chihuahua boy, and he is 14. I was in yesterday with Rico for his yearly exam and shots. This was the first time meeting Dr. Fu. I was very impressed for the first time meeting her. She is very thorough, caring, and you can tell she really loves animals. I would highly recommend her to everyone. I also met three new people at the front desk, as well as the vet tech with Dr. Fu. They were all awesome. Rico did very well for Dr. Fu. He’s always a good boy when he comes to the vet. Thank you to al

My daughter and I had an excellent experience at Buckeystown Vet yesterday. My 15 year old Corgi started showing signs of something significantly wrong with him on Tuesday night. By Wednesday morning he had gotten worse. Confused, stumbling not recognizing us. Brought in and were seen by Dr. Mark Olcott. He was compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable. He diagnosed Louie having a stroke. He had progressively gotten worse during the day on Wednesday. We opted to have him "put to sleep". It was very peaceful and quick. Thank you Dr. Olcott and the staff at Buckeystown Vet. I will be moving the rest of my pets to their practice.

I want to thank all the buckeystown staff for being absolutely incredible with Gunner and I. I want to especially give a big thank you to Dr. Olcott for being extremely amazing too. We took Gunner to the ER vet for profusely vomiting not eating & drinking. After hours at the ER the Xray came back showing he has a blockage in his stomach and that he needed surgery. We took him to Buckeystown on Monday morning to have another xray retaken to see if everything still looked the same or possibly changed… it looked the same so we were strongly encouraged for surgery. We took him in on Tuesday to have surgery to remove the blockage and he did great per the staff! They took amazing care of him in pre&post op and were so helpful during the process. I wish I could remember the front desk lady name b

DO NOT TRUST THIS PRACTICE Once upon a time, this used to be a great practice. Since they sold a few years ago, all the great vets and staff left. They got super expensive almost all the clients left. We kept going only for one of our dogs with allergies. The revolving door of vets makes your head spin. Why can’t they keep anyone? The last two months I’ve been there several times to try and find out why my dog hasn’t been feeling well and loosing weight. Blood work done all checked out fine. I asked two separate doctors (revolving door) to check her mouth because she has been acting weird when eating. After so many visits NOT ONE vet discovered her issue. Today I did and was horrified. How could neither vet have missed the issue? Transferring to another vet in Urbana today. I don’t kn
