Yes I ask for help for my puppies after an home fire I was told that pickup would be on Friday if not there was no space so I chose to continue to resource out for help from other people got it down to to puppies that needed intake to be call on Friday and the worker already had a disrespectful tone to say I’m getting all or nothing when I help them to have space make it make sense because they don’t have an acting supervisor they do as they please and then wonder why people don’t ask for help in Brunswick County that’s why because you do as you please don’t follow your word and back up each other in your wrongs but it’s all good it’s Been reported to Richmond . Thank god for good people I will never deal with this shelter again

They are liars!!! They said they were coming to pick up 4 of my puppies originally but put in an order to take all my dogs including my adult ones. They move at their speed at the cost of trying to make you seem unfit instead of seeing that someone is trying to be responsible. I can tell it's not about the dogs for them at all. 10 puppies vs 3 seems like a no brainier to me. But I'm so unfit I been taking care of them for at least 4 months after I called for help. Got shots for all of them dewormed all of them. They will never set foot on my property again.

Craig, Rachel, Nancy and the other volunteers go above and beyond for the dogs in their care. They're only an hour away from Richmond and SO worth the drive. The shelter was spotless when we arrived and the dogs are very much loved by the volunteers and ACO Craig. They really take the time to help you find the perfect match. Our family will be forever grateful for their help in finding 'Rex', our newest family member that we are head over heels in love with! Thank you ALL ❤️

What i saw was small, but clean. The peole listened, ask questions and were empathetic to my report on lost dogs.

When I 1st went by, they were out due to an emergency, but when I returned 1 hr later, it was fully staffed with 3 members. What I like most is that they were friendly, organized, polite, and professional. My 2 dogs had gotten out of our yard 2 weeks ago, and the shelter team picked them up a few miles from home. They were taken to the shelter, which was very clean, and no foul order. My pups were taken well care of.
