I got my girl here. She had been at the shelter for 3 months, surrendered by her previous owners because of behavioral issues. Workers at this shelter were very helpful and kind even though you can tell they have a lot going on at the same time. They brought several dogs out for us to meet. Dogs love the staff, you can tell they are treated well. The kennels are cleaned very frequently, you will probably see them being cleaned on your visit. When we met our girl she was roudy until my husband sat on the floor, then she immediately climbed on his lap determined to become a lap dog despite her size. We fostered her for a month and got to see her potential. She is an incredibly smart dog, so eager to please. It took consistent intentional training but you could see her improvement day by day.

I went to this shelter a few times in search of a rescue dog. At first, each dog I liked learned had already been adopted. Then I ran into a staff member there Julie which I recognized from Tiktok from all her videos she post about the dogs needing to be adopted. One of the last times I was there, she took the time to give us a meet and greet about a dog we found at the shelter. We fell in love with him. She went the extra mile to assure me the dog was not adopted yet and that day, we adopted our pup. There's a lot of animals in need of a new begining and to find their forever home with unconditional love just like our Atlas.

Wonderful facilities. Friendly and helpful staff! I was able to get my pets tag renewed in minutes. I'm 58 and I've had dogs and cats my entire life. A few years back we adopted an 11 month old, white and tan, American Pit Bull Terrior from this facility. Turned out, he was the BEST dog I've ever owned!! Adopt a pet! You never know. You just might find your best friend here!

Me and my fiance stumbled across this place and I am so thankful we did because this sweet baby has become our best friend/ little side kick! She is so loving and cuddly. She is also very well behaved! Definitely one of the best choices we have made so far! Was my first visit a new facility,so I was a little lost at first. I was looking to Maybe adopt a dog,it was kinda like a maze at first, quickly I got familiar with the layout. It was a little overwhelming so I I left. Two days later after viewing the adoptable dogs on web site I went back. You take a picture of the paper hanging on cage and go back up front , sign in on kiosk and wait for meet and greet. Senior dogs have sponsor and have free food and flea meds for life. After my meet and greets I chose a dog and she was able to go home after her spay surgery. Dogs have rabies tag and microchip as well. Took a little time for the dog to adjust, she was just a little shy and unfamiliar with my house. Enid is doing great now!
