Brooklyn Yard Veterinary Hospital

I changed Vet clinics due to my previous vet clinic being bought by a Private Equity Company and changes I did not like. My friend recommended Brooklyn Yard. I love that it’s independently owned by women. My heeler mix was seen by Dr. Phelps to establish care and my golden retriever was seen today by Dr. Nuccio. Both Veterinarians were wonderful, kind and gentle with my dogs and spent a good amount of time examining them. My heeler mix can be a little nervous with new people, but he immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Phelps and even sat in her lap. I was not pressured into using their pharmacy for my dogs medication and was even told about using Costco to fill my heelers apoquel which is quite expensive. This is the only vet our older dog has not been afraid of. She is so calm whenever she has to go to the vet. They are so sweet and gentle with her. They get down on the floor with my dogs and give them lots of love before starting to do anything. We will be moving out of this neighborhood soon but we will still make the drive back here to keep them with this current vet. We recommend them to anyone who asks!

Brooklyn Yard has been incredible to work with! Dr. Hooper helped with medication recommendations for my anxious dog, and has been wonderful with checking in. As a first time dog parent, they have been very thorough, transparent, and welcoming! Thanks for all you do :)

People here are so so so nice and really helpful. They are really helpful and have a very reasonable price. They take time to talk to you, not just rushing like some other vet. Highly recommend.
