Customer Reviews
Very disappointing experience. Staff spent less than a minute trying to remove my 5-month-old kitten’s staples before labeling her “aggressive.” Instead of working with her, they suggested I use a new carrier (mine is already brand new) and even contacted the vet to recommend putting her under anesthesia again just to remove three staples. That’s completely unnecessary and not the kind of compassionate care I expected.
Took my cat to get staples taken out. No wait. Very professional and caring.
I went to the shelter seeking a kitten. I am an owner of three cats, and was looking for a female kitten, wanting to give my cats a little sister. The staff that helped me was kind. However, I filled out my application. The worker told me it would take a little while for my application to get approved. I said that was completely fine, and asked if I could come back after it was approved. She took me to the directors office, who looked at me and said "I need you both to leave my office right now." She was on the phone, and I understand she was probably busy, but there was no need for the rudeness. I ended up leaving, and I never received a call back regarding the kitten I filled out an application for. This is very disheartening as I was just trying to give a shelter animal a good home.
We found the most PERFECT kitten here after leaving two other shelters first. It’s been just 3 days and we can’t imagine our life without him. The young girl (Caitlyn) who helped us was awesome. The shelter was CLEAN, organized and has a very nice staff.
All I know my son and his friend went up to do some work at the shelter and my son ended up adopting a Siberian Husky named Makira a few years ago. The best furbaby ever! She is a big part of our family and the whole neighborhood loves her
