Brandywine Valley SPCA, Georgetown Campus

The Brandywine Valley in Georgetown DE have such an amazing staff there. I adopted a female mixed breed former named Harley now named Bailey when we arrived they took my husband and I outside to meet Bailey and she started bonding with us almost instantly but I knew when I seen her on line that she was going to be ours, but anyway we played with her for a while then went inside and started the adoption process. I was in love with her and the staff loaded us up with lots of goodies. I could also tell that the time Harley/Bailey was with them, that they have her so much love. On the ride home I sat on the back seat with her and she laid her head in my lap, she was so excited and so sweet. Thank you Brandywine Valley SPCA for giving me joy and happiness I love her so much. 🐕❤️🐕

I met the dogs I pre-selected selected (I highly recommend researching before you go). The handlers were able to answer my questions. It was affordable and Theo is current with vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. He’s also house-trained and has excellent leash manners. I adopted the same day as the visit. Theo is getting settled. It will take some weeks or months for him to fully adjust. He’s a good boy who was well cared for when he didn’t have a home. I am grateful to the SPCA for their work.

Our experience adopting a kitten with Brandywine was a very positive one. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. All vaccines and neutering were included. I would definitely consider fostering or adopting with Brandywine again.

As a new patient with a large dog (rottweiler) I was delighted that they treated her with tenderness and affection. It was a departure from a previous vet practice. If you need a change try these guys, they are great.

I adopted my cat from here and she is my sweet angel, wonderful and friendly staff 100% recommend. Adopt don't shop!
