I've had a number of bad experiences here, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were having an off day, but after being treated poorly too many times, I've decided to take my dog elsewhere. First, the Dr reprimanded me over the phone when asking for medication refills saying "you need to make sure you're asking for the right medications" when I'm positive I did as my dog has been on them for years. Perhaps he wasn't listening or got confused himself. Regardless, it was the wrong tone to a patient. During another visit Dr Markowitz wasn't listening to me, interrupted me to talk to the tech, and dismissed my concerns saying he felt what was happening to my dog was perfectly normal age-related changes. I’ve been a loyal client here for over a year, always bringing my rabbit, Ruby, for her front teeth trimmings. Unfortunately, my most recent visit has completely changed my opinion of this place. I came in only for a simple front teeth trim and a quick peek inside Ruby’s mouth. She had just undergone a molar trim during surgery not long ago, so I already knew her condition well. Every previous visit cost $31, but this time I was suddenly charged $90 for a “consultation” I never requested. When I tried explaining to the receptionist, Sarah or whatever her name is, that I wasn’t there for a consultation — just the usual trimming — I was told that simply asking the doctor questions or expressing concerns counts as a consultation. Thank you so much to the vets and staff at Boulevard Vet Clinic for taking such great care of Dahlia over the years. She lived to nearly 17 years of age! You were also there for us in the toughest moment of all. It was really hard to let her go and we'll miss her so much, but we're thankful to you for making our last moments with her so full of compassion, calm, and peace.

They have taken such good care of my pets. The staff is always friendly and caring towards my animals - even the scaredy cat who hates getting his claws clipped and requires multiple techs to accomplish the task!
