Scam. Boone County Dog Pound adoptions appear to be a scam. Ashley claims she is a volunteer with the nonprofit Boone Animal Rescue Coalition and works with the HO Sean Bowles to adopt dogs in Fosterville ( an unincorporated town without a mayor). Then tells an interested adopter that the dog has not seen a vet, doesnt have rabies vaccines, distemper, or Bordetella, or any mandated vaccines prior to adoption. There is no evidence that there are even dogs as they take credit card money over the phone and promise exchange in a parking lot.
Facility is immaculate and Robert and Jerry were so helpful. They are really good with the dogs there!
