Bobbie's Pit Bull Rescue

We adopted our pittie mix, Chief, from Bobbie’s Pit Bull Rescue and we couldn’t have had a better experience throughout the adoption process, and afterwards. The adoption process was very thorough, but it went pretty quickly. We learned a lot about Chief before even meeting him. His foster mom, Meghan, made sure our meet and greet went smoothly. Sylvia made sure our home introduction went well. We’ve kept in touch with Meghan and Sylvia since adopting Chief and they’ve given us pointers in how to acclimate Chief into our home. I can’t say enough good things about Bobbie’s Pit Bull Rescue. They truly care about their dogs and adopters.

Silvia was extremely responsive to emails. This animal rescue helped a family member of mine tremendously. They drove over 2 hours and picked up mom pit and puppies. The rescue payed to have all fixed then quickly put them up for adoption. They make sure pit bull pups find good homes and keep them from getting into the wrong hands. I’m saddened to see any negative comments at all on a rescue where there are obviously good people doing good work. If you cannot get someone on the phone send an email and wait for a response. When you have an organization depending on volunteers and donations they cannot be available 24/7. Be gracious, kind and thankful they exist.

In may I sent numerous emails and left voicemails bc I wanted. a pit bull saved from being euthanized. He was aggressive and had been abandoned by his owner. NO ONE from this “rescue” ever contacted me back! I’m extremely disappointed. The website should be TAKEN DOWN!

We had the best experience adopting through Bobbie’s. They are a rescue run completely by volunteers and as anyone who has adopted through an organization like this knows, the process takes time. Since they keep their rescues in a network of foster homes and not a general kennel, they know these dogs inside and out.. so as some reviews have mentioned, though it may be disappointing, you will not always be the right fit for the dog you want. But the thing I love the most is, Bobbie’s ALWAYS puts that dog’s needs first. If you’re looking to give a pup a home and commit to being an advocate and ambassador for the bully breed types, this is the best place to find your perfect fit!

We had a great experience with this rescue. From the moment we contacted them we could tell they were passionate about, as well as fiercely dedicated to, the animals in their care. Silvia and Franceen were very responsive and helped us to find a wonderful addition to our family. These are fantastic people providing a great service and I highly recommend them if you are looking to adopt.
