When it came time for carpet for a recent remodel I started my search at Bob Grubbs Carpet Designers - Robinhood Rd. It was my first stop and my last! Tracie showed me what she thought worked best for my home and Matt, who has years of experience with carpet, confirmed the selection was my best option. My experience was very good and the installation was flawless.

We had a poor experience with Bob Grubb carpet. We first went to the store on Robinhood and met Matt. He was telling us what we needed to do and not discussing any options with us. During the whole process, he was calling me idiotic and my room layouts idiotic, and kept ending every sentence he said to my wife with ‘baby’. This is not the way to speak to prospective customers. We decided we did not want to work with him any more and went to the location downtown. Shelly was much more friendly and open to having a conversation with us about our options. When it got down to needing quotes, they were very rough quotes and not itemized. These quotes took too long for us and we ended up going with Carpet One By Henry. We moved to Winston-Salem about a year ago, and when we were ready to replace carpet in the three carpeted rooms in our home, we reached out to our realtor (also an interior designer) and a few other folks. Grubbs Carpet Designers was always a top recommendation! And we are soooo pleased! So much inventory, so knowledgeable, so service oriented, and so patient as we made our way through multiple samples! Best flooring store in the Triad. Lindsey is knowledgeable, patient and professional. Their installation crew was amazing. Fast and precise. Always cleaner than when they arrived. Highly recommend.
