Blue Ridge Kennels

Read the reviews, they speak for themselves! I was not sure when I first saw the place as all you see is cinderblock walls and fencing, but it was clean. We have tried 3 other kennels in the area before finding this place 3 years ago. There's a difference between taking care of your animal vs providing a second home for your loved one. Rebecca and Caitlyn are animal lovers and convey it in ways they would not think twice about! We were worried the first time but got a text in the middle of our trip giving us a positive update on our dog...very thoughtful! He seems to know them as he wags his tail and goes up to them on his own (our vicious little protector doesn't normally do that (Yorkie)).

My sister had brought her dog, Sugar, to board for a few days and was happy that there was so much room for the dogs! My sister was even given a tour of the grounds, which not many places do and was reassured that Sugar would be allowed to exercise 4 times a day. The property is nice and quiet. When I went to pick up Sugar the staff were so incredibly friendly and very compassionate towards Sugar ☺️ I highly suggest taking your pups here!

I am a repeat customer of Blue Ridge and I absolutely adore them. They take such good care of my dog, and are so good at addressing her individualized care needs. They really care about whether or not your dog is enjoying their stay, and they give their all to accomplish that goal. This last stay they even bought a mat to cushion the floor for my dog since her paws have a tendency to get really sore because she likes to pace. Truly above and beyond.

Had nothing, but a great experience with Blue Ridge Kennels. Everyone was very friendly, gave me a tour of the kennels, and after leaving Sugar in their hands, they gave me that warm fuzzy feeling that she’s going to be well taken care of. Thank you for your awesome service and hospitality :)

We love this kennel and will never take our dog anywhere else! We have been taking our Bernese Mountain Dog to the kennel for over a year now and it has been wonderful. The owners and staff are so nice and take such good care of each and every dog. I know my dog will be well taken care of. Previous kennels we have tried; when we picked our dog up he would always growl when we tried to pet him (which shows that he was abused). But after picking him up from Blue Ridge he didn’t growl and was his normal happy self.
