Dave has been an awesome trainer! His pricing was fair, and I loved that he came to our home for the sessions. We’ve already seen a huge difference in both our dog’s behavior and the way we approach training. His philosophy makes sense, the equipment he recommended has helped a ton, and he clearly has the experience to back it all up. Plus, he’s fun to work with and if you’re lucky, you might even hear him sing (he’s got an amazing voice!). Highly recommend!

We have a headstrong 6 month old European Doberman puppy. We tried two trainers before Dave . One clearly said he could not help us , another trainer wanted to use a positive reinforcement only method on our dog and it was just not working for our pup. Finally we found Dave !! He came out and showed us quickly and easily how to train our dog . He didn’t waste our time with bogus gimmicks to train our dog . Dave comes out to your house , shows you what to do (our dog quickly responded to Dave’s method of training) and makes sure your dog understands and then it’s up to you to practice . We have a dominant giant schnauzer who ran off three trainers who said he needed to be put down. We found Dave and now there is hope for our Fergusson. I highly recommend him for your pet and family. Our giant refused to let anyone in the house without lunging at them. Dave has taught us how to take control of the situation and make Fergusson stay in “place” I can answer the doorbell without worry. Anyone with a large or dominant breed needs Dave for their pet just for basic good behavior. I can’t wait to see our Fergusson’s continued growth.

I hired Dave to help my young puppy learn fundamentals/basic manners and to prepare him for leash training. Although my puppy didn't have any major behaviorial issues, Dave helped me communicate so much better with my pup in a way that he would understand me and vice versa. I've had dogs before but never did a formal training until this new puppy of mine and, although most of us dog owners can teach our dogs to sit, stay, and fetch, having a trainer that not only knows how to teach a dog tricks and commands, but that truly understands dog behavior makes a huge difference and sets you up for success with a new dog. I cannot recommend Dave enough! I came to Dave when my two miniature dachshunds started becoming aggressive towards each other so much so that I had to keep them separate at all times. Not even a few weeks later after training with Dave, they are back to being best friends. He has also been a huge help with basic obedience as well and they overall are much better behaving dogs than they were at the start. He teaches you a wealth of information so even once the training is finished, you still have all the tools necessary to stay on top of your dog's behavior. Highly recommend!
