Blossom Pet Salon

I can’t say enough good things about Blossom! I have two Alaskan Malamutes, and we have gone through countless groomers in the Madison area before finding Blossom. They accommodate my female malamute who isn’t dog friendly, and I don’t have to worry about her when she’s there. My male malamute has an incredibly difficult, thick coat and they have made a schedule for him that works for all of us and keeps him happy and healthy. When I pick them up they are happy and calm instead of stressed out, and I have truly never seen/felt a better groom than the work they do at Blossom. My long and difficult search of finding a grooming salon that works well for my malamutes is over and I will never go anywhere else!

Usually I am quite lazy about writing reviews, but I feel I must write about the wonderful experience I and our 2 Goldens had at the Blossom Pet Salon. Both dogs had the very best grooming they have ever had. They look amazing and, being the hairy pups that they are, we are seeing much less shedding. Their coats are smooth and shining, and in brushing I am seeing much less loose hair and thus far fewer tumble weeds billowing around the house. To top it off, the crew were all so welcoming and created a calm experience for both of our dogs. I decided to engage in monthly followups as a result. Thank you for such a positive experience!

We were introduced to Blossom two years ago with a “puppy intro” when our poodle-mix pup was about 4 months old for his first big bath. And it was one of the best things we have done. To this day, he has never had an issue or any discomfort during the bath, despite visibly not enjoying it at all :) Since our dog’s coat requires regular care, we decided to take a private lesson to reduce its costs. Marci taught us how to do the bath, ear cleaning and drying to maintain his coat at home in between full grooming sessions at the salon. She showed us the parts that require extra care, and how to handle our pup during the bath to make it more comfortable for all of us. We have a senior Westie who hates being groomed. Blossom Pet Salon did a wonderful grooming on his first visit. They took their time and gave him breaks. He was happy when I picked him up. Our second visit he was a little more apprehensive, but he stuck it out, and again, Blossom did a great job and was encouraging about his experience (even if he was not happy). I appreciate the care he got and the attention to the details I asked for in his care. Thank you!

I brought my 2 dogs here for the “toenail Thursday” service where they have nail clipping offered from 5-8pm every Thursday. We walked in and there was no line. The two ladies working there were so wonderful! It was such a quick process, and they did a wonderful job. All their nails were the same length, which is rare with my guys since they wiggle so much during the service. I will definitely be back!
