Blair Small Animal Clinic

I’m incredibly grateful for this team. My dog was heavily overmedicated by a previous clinic for seizures and pain management, and I kept being told his symptoms were “normal.” As a dog owner, I trusted my gut and sought a third opinion. Blair Small Animal Hospital got us in the very next day without hesitation. They listened, took my concerns seriously, adjusted his medications, and gave me real reassurance. I’ve had dogs for years, and this is the first time I truly felt heard, supported, and confident that my dog was genuinely cared for.

I wouldn't recommend this vet to ANYONE. First of all, I took one of my dogs in for a white, spiky bump on her lip. The vet took one look and said, it's most likely cancer and it needs a biopsy. Went home that same day, saw the same bump on ANOTHER one of my dogs. Turns out the crates I had bought from FB marketplace had the canine oral papilloma virus. Not at all cancerous and unnecessarily made me think my dog may have been dying. Next and last vet visit the vet was extremely rude and off-putting. Didn't even say hello when she walked in the room and immediately started berating me for me pet-care (my 11-month old Pyrenees was pregnant; turned out completely fine and she didn't eat her puppies as I was told). Horrible vet.

I had an appointment for my dog she she pulling her hair out, suspected anxiety. I spent 30 unplanned minutes trying to get her in my car and was 15 minutes late because of this. I even politely called advising the trouble I was having apologizing for being late. When I walked in defeated and exhausted but able to get her there, I was told that I would have to reschedule waiting 2 if not more days. She had already done what is pictured in two days. The clinic was still open for another hour and a half. Would have gladly waited until the end of the day out of respect for others. No willingness to look at her or hear me out. Compassion - 0 Empathy-0 Wiillingness to let an animal suffer 100%.

This is a fantastic veterinary clinic. Staff is friendly, prices aren't outrageous, and they will go the extra mile for you and your pets

Dr. Chris is the absolute best and caring vet we have ever met! We have followed her to this location and happy to drive out to Blair to see her. Our animals seem to get along very nicely with her. She has come back to the office twice and saved our families cat Joker, and the other to care for our 9 week old GSD. I could go on and on. However if you are looking for the best, look no further!
