Doctor TY helped me over the last month, as my service Dog Izzy got cancer and we had to make the hard decision to help her cross over to the next life. Doctor TY took extra time to explain her test results, was very compassionate and exceptionally thorough. He is very knowledgeable. If you are looking for a veteran who is at the top of his game l highly recommend him. Also the staff and support/ vet techs are stellar!! A bit of a drive from Smithfield but worth the extra effort. Dr. Collin’s has been very professional, compassionate, and taken the time to call and provide updates more frequently than any other vet we have seen in Cache Valley. Our cat’s surgery went well and she has recovered fully. We would highly recommend Blacksmith Vet Clinic if quality of care and cost are considerations for you

My dog needed help and they wouldn't fit her in I called twice and all they'd say is bring her in in the morning. She passed an hr after my last call so I took her body over in the morning and they wouldn't take her without me paying for some outrageous cremation. They didn't even say sorry about your dog. Hard to get good help. The vets are probably good but the office help won't do anything especially if they have to do something.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Called the vet for a 911 farm call on a baby that was stuck in my ewe. They said "load her up and bring her to us." I can't lift a 200lb ewe by myself, and the baby had his head and a leg out. I can't get her up. Baby was completely stuck. I told them I live 3 minutes down the road from them. They put me on hold multiple times and finally told me "we can fit you in TOMORROW." Well, tomorrow my sheep would be dead and the baby. I asked if someone could guide me on what to do, because this baby was half out NOW, so I can save my ewe from death, and then see if they can fit me in for a 911 farm call later when they had time. Nope. They sat there on the phone like I was speaking another language. I couldn't believe it. And we have to use these jokers to take c
