I had B/A do a tiny half bath tile installation in my old home about a year ago now. The tile was 1” hexagonal tile that I had specialty ordered on my own. I had originally contemplated doing the project on my own and had contacted Schluter about using their ditra product as my underpayment for this small of tile. Schluter did not warranty the installation and cautioned that it would take a really skilled installer to correctly lay such small tile on their system. Because of this information, I opted to contract Blackman/Albrecht to do the install instead. They told me they would use the Schluter system and I figured it would turn out fine since they were experts at tile. When the project was completed, I was disappointed in the results. The tile looks and feels slightly uneven throughout

They do some great work in the Iowa City area. Not the easiest place to find online... but definitely worth checking out!
