Black Woof Inn

Rags' friends at the Black Woof Inn take the very best care of her when we are out of town. She has playdates with other dogs and comes home completely exhausted, like a kid coming home from summer camp. She loves it. They send daily "report cards" with photos, and I have such peace of mind that there is a family-affiliated vet right next door in case of emergencies. Totally worth the drive to La Grange from Louisville for this level of care and fun for my sweet girl.

We recently boarded our two dogs at Black Woof Inn, and it was a great experience. The dogs were in a kennel that had a “Dog Door” which gave them access to the fenced in, outside play area. The kennel was also large enough to allow the dogs to board together, which improved their overall comfort level. I also revived daily photos and updates from the staff, which improved my personal comfort level. We’ll be coming back the next time we need to board the dogs.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Black Woof Inn! From the moment we dropped our dogs off, we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such loving and capable hands. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our pups were comfortable, cared for, and given plenty of attention while we were on vacation. We received updates and could tell that our dogs were happy, relaxed, and truly enjoying their stay. It was clear the team treats every dog like family, and that gave us such peace of mind. When we picked them up, they were healthy, clean, and just as loved as if they had been home with us. If you’re looking for a place that genuinely cares for your pets, I can’t recommend Black Woof Inn enough. We’ll definitely be bringing our dogs back the next time we travel!

Kooper had a great stay at Black Woof Inn. This is an excellent place to board your dog. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the facility is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The owner is very personable and hands-on, ensuring each pet receives great care. Kooper also had a grooming appointment here, and they did an outstanding job. I highly recommend Black Woof Inn for both boarding and grooming. Kooper will definitely be back. Thank you for taking such great care of him.

This was only the 2nd time our 14 year old dog has been boarded and it was a great experience. Being older, she can be a little grumpy with other dogs. BWI listened to this and made sure when she spent time with others, it was others like her who didn’t want a lot of interaction. When we picked her up, she was happy to see us but not overly anxious to leave. That tells me she was happy. We will be back again.
