Black River Dog Retreat

Cannot recommend Black River Dog Retreat enough! Clean, accommodating, and genuine dog lovers. When I have to leave our puppy here, I have no worries and can focus on enjoying time away. Thank you to Matt, Dwayne, and Tom for providing a great place to trust with our boy!

I recently boarded my two dogs at Black River Dog Retreat, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The owners were so communicative and accommodating. It is clear that they truly love dogs. The facility was clean, the kennels were spacious, and my pups were clearly well cared for. The owners live on-site, which is comforting, knowing that my dogs were safe and looked after around the clock. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I’ll definitely be bringing them back!

We recently boarded our dog, Teddy, at Black River Dog Retreat and we were extremely pleased with the care and love he received. We even received pictures and updates of how he was doing! Would highly recommend.

We loved this place! They took great care of our pup, and were very sweet and attentive. Clean, organized spot. They allowed us to leave a favorite blanket and toy with our dog. And, we really appreciated the late pickup time and the flexibility that afforded us. Thank you! Would definitely board with them again.

This place is very nice. I loved the bright paint and how clean the kennels are. Although I don't have a dog, I would be comfortable leaving a fur baby with them.
