Bird Gardens of Naples

Such a cost effective place to take the kids. If you enjoy nature and animals this is the place to be. We went on a Saturday tour with the kids and we had an amazing time learning about different birds even heard some of them talking. The kids loved feeding all the birds but enjoyed feeding the geese the most because they were roaming free. Be sure to bring bug repellents and lots of blueberries and nuts to feed the birds. The team here is amazing and doing amazing work. We would definitely return and may even adopt a parrot.

Fantastic place. This sanctuary for tropical birds is a special place run by special people who take such good care of the birds. Lots of love for the birds which was nice to see. The birds were so beautiful with a great variety of them. I especially loved the African cranes! It seems like the birds liked the almonds a lot. Great place for families. This place exceeded my expectations. Good will offering but be generous as they are doing some good for the birds!

We love the weekend tours, welcomed by the ambassador birds, a little prep talk and info's and you head from macaws to Nene geese, cranes and tortoises over to cockatoos and cockatiels. They're doing an awesome job in taking care of all these exotic and pretty birds and their aviary. There is no entry fee, but please donate whatever feels right. (Cash or PayPal) They need it and it goes directly to the birds (vet, food, toys, care). They're also looking for reliable volunteers. Had a great tour with Carrie. She took time to introduce us to the birds and walk us around. Loved getting to feed the birds almonds and "talk" to them. If you have a chance, visit this fun place! Be sure to call and reserve a tour first.

Truly a hidden gem in the Naples/Ft Meyers area! Alec led our tour, his knowledge and passion for what they do was obvious! I would recommend this to anyone looking for something fun and educational in the area :)
