What a delight!! My cat, who is my spoiled rotten baby, the princess of the family, had gotten bit by what I thought was a venomous snake. Her leg was swollen for days and my vet in Coldspring did not have room for me to bring her in. They suggested benadryl. After a few days, she wasn't getting better. I called multiple vets and no one had any openings for her. I called Big Thicket, very discouraged, and as soon as they answered, I asked if they had availability. She said yes and asked what's going on. I explained and she could feel my frustration. She was very empathetic with me, reassured me everything would be OK, and said be on your way right now. We recently had to put my cat to sleep. The vets did everything they could but unfortunately she had cancer. They were very compassionate and caring for her from the first visit to the last. I want to say thank you to the entire staff. All are wonderful people.

From setting up appointments to the welcoming atmosphere this place is a 10/10. Workers are so welcoming and the Veterinarians are so informative and helpful. Listened to all our concerns and worries, answered all our questions. They were so very sweet to our Dog Lily as well. So glad to be recommended to Big Thicket Veterinary Clinic.

Scheduling an appointment is super easy and they’ve always had availability when I needed it. I always leave feeling confident that my dogs are in the best hands!
