I am very grateful for Dr. Elliot caring for my duck, Jean Luc. He had a prolapsed phallus that we had been trying to treat for a long time, and it just wasn’t going to go back in. Dr. Elliot tried everything they reasonably could first, including a purse-string suture (and tightening it again when needed), before making the call to amputate the same day. The situation was handled quickly and clearly, and I felt I could trust them. It is not easy to find a vet who will take ducks seriously, and I truly feel Jean Luc was in good hands at Big Springs Veterinary Clinic. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust Dr. Elliot again with my animals. Jean Luc made a full recovery and is happy, active, and acting totally normal. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Elliott have been the most amazing vets for my dogs. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. They don’t talk to you like you’re dumb if you ask for them to explain something to you. My elderly pitbull does not do well in the vet’s office and when he’s getting his nails clipped, he gets scared and tries to bite. The staff was So patient with him and one of the techs named Kadence was an absolute sweetheart when it came to my old boy. She kept him comfortable the entire time he was there and was just so sweet. It helped his anxiety a lot it seemed.

This is a great veterinary clinic and I'm glad we take all of our cats here. They showed great care, compassion, and tenderness during the aging and disease progression of our very elderly, sick cat. They assisted us throughout the process and made it as easy as possible on us to get her diabetic meds and treatment over the years. And when the end came, they went out of their way to make sure we could do the final, right thing by her. I will always be grateful for that. Thanks again.

So I think doctor Elliott is great! However , the powers that be that handle the billing do not care if your animals are taken care of or not. Today, I took my sick yorkie.Mix cold to the vet.And by the time I got up to the counter to pay, it was $222.00 owed for the visit. The vet had diagnosed that my baby had some swelling around his heart probably due to infection in his teeth. Said he needed to be started on antibiotic. Coles breathing has been shallow and he was really bad looking like death on Saturday night but did not have the money to take him to emergency vet then. Cole made it through and had slight improvement through yesterday so I took him in. I only had $200.00 that I had for a roof repair at home. There is really something to be said about how great of a veterinary clinic you have when your boy is this happy to be there! Great staff and vet! Dr. Elliot is always so attentive to details, and we always feel like our pups are loved on the way we love on them. So grateful to them!
