Better Endings

My husband and I recently had to put our dog to sleep. Our vet's office referred us to Better Endings and we are so grateful. Kathy Martin was so kind throughout the entire process. We were both so upset, but she talked us through the process. She is very understanding and professional. I am sorry to anyone with a terminally ill pet. If you are in this situation, she makes the entire process a little less painful. I think we would have gone crazy without Better Endings to help us.

My 6 year old Great Dane was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. My family was blow away. She showed no signs except a lump on her front paw. We opted to not due the amputation as the cancer had spread to the lungs already. One month to the day my girl fractured the paw and we knew that she was suffering. Dr. Martin was a blessing to us. She was so kind and gentle. She explained what was going to happen and it happened just like she explained. My sweet girl went to sleep and all of the pain was finally gone. She was then given the final drug and she passed quickly and gently. Dr. Martin let us have all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. The very next day she left a precious paw print of our girl that she made. If you are left with this terrible decision don’t call anyone else but Dr. Martin.

Had to make the difficult decision of letting our beloved Hazel go and didn’t want to have to drag her to the vets office to do it. Could not have had a better person help us through this. Such a kind and amazing person. Truly recommend to anyone in a similar situation. Thank you for the better ending for our girl.

Kathy was so nice and patient with us. She stayed very neutral when it came to our decision and she was very nice and treated our Lily with much respect.

Kathy was the most wondetfull soul I have ever met..she made our experience with our Bella 's passing Gracious and peacefull.
