Bethlehem Veterinary Hospital

We are extremely happy with the care that Dr Lucas and the staff at Bethlehem Veterinary Hospital has provided to our dog, Sierra. They have always been responsive when we needed to have her seen and we could usually get an appointment within a few days. Dr Lucas is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions about Sierra’s care. He did excellent surgery on her paw and did not get upset when we had to bring her in on an urgent care visit after she pulled her stitches out! The staff has been welcoming and accommodating to all our concerns and Sierra’s care. We recommend this veterinary practice to everyone.

Nurse and doctors are very nice and place is relatively clean--all vets have animal smells. It took a long time to be seen, 25:30 mins. And it is very expensive. You are looking at $500 for an annual visit with shots, more if you get bloodwork. That is a lot especially if you have several animals. Since COVID the cost of having an animal has skyrocketed. They also auto recommended all my animals get visits and annuals but they were up to date. Luckily one of the two vet techs could figure that out. While there someone also parked a huge trailer in from of the entrance and made it very difficult to get out to my car with my dog. Unfortunately, they also do not board if needed.

I take my little girl to Bethlehem Veterinary to ensure she stays healthy and happy. My kitty's exam was thorough and my questions were answered clearly. Staff handled my kitty gently during her exam. Since she's approaching her golden years, I was emailed links for arthritis prevention, massage techniques and feeding suggestions. I set up an appointment to discuss euthanasia with the vet. Sadly, my dog, Duke, never made it to that appointment. I felt bad later because I forgot to cancel the appointment. Somehow they found out about his death or figured he passed away. They sent me a sympathy card signed by the various people working there. I appreciated the sentiment and effort very much. Such a sweet thing to do! Also, setting up an appointment is always quick and easy there. The service is phenomenal! ❤️
