Genuinely the worst place I’ve ever taken my dog. My dog is a pitbull terrier mix and the sweetest dog he was nervous due to past situations before being adopted by us. so he threw up. They were holding him down tightly away from us for almost ten minutes without a break. They kept trying to get him to eat treats even thought he was upset. He was in visible distress so he tried to pull his head away and they thought he was going to bite them. He’s never bit anyone, but also we have never held him down ESPECIALLY for that long. no human would enjoy being in a situation being held down like that either.

I love this place. My girl has some issues that are mild, but chronic, so we see them monthly. Out of all the vets I have gone to in my life, these folks are the most reasonably priced, and they are very willing to work with any pet insurances. They are so kind to the animals and make reasonable suggestions. They tell you all your options, and are willing to help you decide if you ask for it. My girl has never developed a fear of these folks, even though there is pain involved at visits, so that says a lot about their care.

Mr. Baby Bear-Salem still fits in the sink @ Bethel Animal Hospital for our yearly checkup, evening though he's gotten a bit bigger over the last year was 10.8 lbs. 12/22/2022 weight is a even 13lbs. When you first enter BAH, Buffy will greet you with a smile and a “hello”. Both Dr. Silvia and Mallorie are wonderful at communicating and imparting their knowledge. In addition, their willingness to consider multiple options in the treatment of their clients is most welcome! We drive 2 hours to access, what I believe, is the very best option for the optimal health of our families pets. I highly recommend BAH!

Love the staff and the care. Don’t love the significant continuously increasing cost…it’s getting outrageous. Also, the added TV screens in exam rooms playing repeating ads for medications is distracting and unnecessary.
