Bella Vista Animal Shelter

Came here the other day inquiring about fostering and/or adopting. The shelter is very nice. They have a main building where you can talk to staff. They will get your info and bring to you any dog that you want to see. I ended up fostering a pup. They gave me dog bowls, food and a kennel to use while we foster our good boy. The manager Laurie was so personable and the dogs there love her. She gave me her number so I could reach her anytime during the fostering. I was really happy with my visit to Bella Vista Animal Shelter and plan to donate to the facility to help their mission.

It was a very difficult choice, but I found my forever kitten at Best Friends in Bentonville. Kittens, cats, dogs, galore! All chipped, neutered or spayed and you’re given food for your newest fur baby before you leave. Very clean facilities and loving volunteers. If the animal and you don’t work out together you can return the animal. Also they’re a no kill facility. Best place in NWA to adopt the newest member(s) of your family.😻🐶

They went above and beyond to find me after my dog escaped and was brought in. Very nice people! Thank you again!

We had an amazingly smooth adoption process with our sweet darling, Darla. The Bella Vista facility shows they truly care about their animals as you cannot see all of them at once but can take a look through the book and they will bring them out one by one. I really thought that was unique and special since it doesn’t rile up all the other dogs. So glad we came here and so thankful to be able to give Darla her forever home!!! We adopted our first dog from the shelter late last year and it was a great experience all around. They have a thorough application process to make sure that the animals go to a good home, but they did everything in their power to make the process move quickly once we met and fell in love with the dog. She was given the name Prue at the shelter though we now call her Olive. She was a stray in the Bella Vista area, but thanks to her time at the shelter she now has great social skills and has made many canine friends. At her first vet visit, we were told that she is in great health and was cared for very well before we got her. I would highly recommend checking here if you are looking for a new addition to the family!
