I brought my cat Peter to Bedrock to have PU surgery with Dr. Andrea Smith. I was very nervous about the surgery, but everyone I spoke with at Bedrock was so comforting and reassuring and made me feel so much better. Dr. Smith did an AMAZING job. The PU surgery went very well. He did have complications with bladder atony before and after surgery that were completely unrelated to PU surgery. But because we went through with the PU surgery at an amazing practice with an amazing doctor, his recovery was much easier because we knew the chances of him obstructing again were very, very low. He saw many specialists and surgeons at a university hospital for the bladder atony, and all of them said that his surgeon did a beautiful job with his PU surgery. They were all very impressed. We have loved Bedrock and Dr. Batchelor! Our 9 year old Havanese, Chloe ended up tearing her cranial cruciate ligaments in both rear legs a couple months ago. She was initially seen in an Emergency Vet Hospital for the injury. We did research to determine which veterinary practice we wanted to use for surgery. After looking at reviews we decided to drive an hour to use Bedrock. From the consultation, to surgeries, to follow up visits we were so impressed by the kindness and knowledge of the staff. We hope we won't need them again but would definitely use them again if needed!

After trying for several days to help our kitten, we were referred out by our regular veterinary hospital to Bedrock. Because of the diagnosis, our kitten needed immediate attention. Every single step of the way was handled perfectly! The doctors were informative and entertained numerous questions. We felt very comfortable leaving our sweet Puddles in their care. Although his surgery was, what I would consider, major - P U for male kitten - I’m happy to report he’s home with us and recovering. We would recommend this facility to others needing surgery for their furry family member. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and kind to all of us and our pet. The facility itself was very clean and tidy and easy to get to.
