We got Chachi from BREW two weeks ago. I submitted my application on a Thursday and had my phone interview on Friday. Chachi’s foster family visited our place with him on Sunday, and we picked him up on Tuesday. Their vetting process made sure that Chachi would have a good life with us. The whole process only took six days, including the weekend and the Christmas break. It was delayed by one day because Chachi stole some fish oil 😂and his foster mom wanted to monitor him for another day. I really appreciate their efficiency. Chachi is the sweetest dog. He is very good with people and other dogs. He does not have any resource-guarding behavior. He pays attention to our commands. This beagle rescue organization really works hard to save as many beagles as possible and their volunteers are truly dedicated to this mission. I worked with two foster moms before deciding to adopt Winston, a 10 year old sweet and gentle boy, who was loved and cared for by BREW until we found him. They vet new owners well, as they should, to assure these dogs go to good and forever homes. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a new beagle family member to check out their website and reach out to them! I would adopt from BREW again without hesitation!
We are just coming up on one month with our new beagle, and could not be happier that we found BREW. Their team was thorough, responsive, and centered the dog's wellbeing throughout the adoption process. Can't recommend highly enough!
BREW is an incredible organization committed to placing beagles with forever families. We've adopted two beagles from BREW and will almost certainly adopt from them again in the future.
Very little follow-up on our application after the first call. Gave up on them after a couple of weeks and were lucky enough to work with a different rescue organization that actually wanted to provide a loving home for their pups. Do not recommend.
