Beach Cities Veterinary Hospital

We’re new to the area and were referred to Beach Cities Vet by a veterinarian friend. Our senior dog needed a tooth removed, and Dr. O’Hara and the team were amazing—great communication, truly compassionate care, and he was able to be booked the day after his consult. The clinic is so clean and welcoming that our dog didn’t even seem to realize he was at the vet. I can’t say enough good things about them and highly recommend Beach Cities Vet.

This is the most wonderful place with a doctor and staff that has old fashion caring, compassion, your pet is at peace when they have their appointment and a doctor who has a heart of gold! Dr. O'Hara is amazing! He is a blessing in disguise!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Beach Cities Vet! All staff is friendly and efficient, and they treat every animal like their own. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough. All staff takes the time to explain everything clearly, answer all questions, and never make you feel rushed. They genuinely care about both pets and their owners. The office is extremely clean, which was a huge plus for me!! They went above and beyond for us, and I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care in the area!

Dr. O’Hara and his staff are AMAZING! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The office is beautiful and kept so clean. My dog is always very anxious at the vet but this was a whole new experience for her. Rather than rushing into the appointment, Dr. O’Hara took his time to establish trust with her. It made a huge difference. He pat her, spoke to her, and moved carefully to ensure she was comfortable. We had a great experience and I will be recommending Beach Cities to everyone.

Excellent veterinary hospital! Top notch in every way. Staff: Good natured, compassionate, efficient. Dr. Michael O'Hara; he's the best, hands down! He has done a major surgery on Kona (dog) and she couldn't be happier/healthier! He consistently provides stellar service and treatment.
