Bayside Veterinary Care

Bayside Veterinary Care provides better services and care than other practices I have used in the past. The receptionist, vet techs, Dr. Perry and checkout personnel are all friendly, thorough and professional. I highly recommend them for your pets!

We've always been very happy at Bayside. Our visit last week was with Dr. Nelson and tech Jessica. Jessica's experience stood out, especially as we discussed our concerns about our old boy's changing habits. Our dog is nearing his end with us and Dr Nelson's thoughtful, pragmatic demeanor helped us to plan on the best way to keep him comfortable. This is our first senior dog and after speaking with Dr. Nelson, my husband and I are confident that we're doing all we can for him while not adding any unnecessary procedures and stress. We're hoping he's still able to see his friends at his next appt in May.

Sad to say it, but this place has gone downhill and is no longer worth the money since the retirement of founding Dr Jen T. The vet techs are still fabulous, and the doctors competent when you're there. But there's no personal connection, no relationship with clients and patients beyond each visit. Not consistent in which doctors are available, and lack of continuity between them. Firm seems interested in collecting excessive fees on routine care, but when your pet is sick, you'll be referred out to urgent care. We hung on for a couple years giving Bayside chance after chance after chance. But there's no sign of change. We stayed too long for nostalgia and convenience, and now we're looking for another vet. What a waste of the business and reputation Dr Jen built in this community.

Going to the vet used to make me feel really anxious. I always felt rushed, and never knew cost-wise what to expect! Everything about our experience at Bayside with our senior pup has been easy and anxiety-free! We always know exactly what to expect cost-wise because they provide us with an estimate before we move forward with diagnostics and treatment. We never feel pressured to do unnecessary tests or procedures, and feel our wishes to keep our pup as comfy as possible are always respected. We also feel seen as pet parents and have never felt rushed during an appointment. Thank you so much for being such a down-to-earth, compassion-driven practice. We are SO happy we found you!

I’ve been to a few vet clinics over the years. The staff and vet here are calm and welcoming. I didn’t feel anxious at all like I have in the past at other clinics. We were able to get in quickly and the appointment ran efficiently. They were gentle with my cat even with him having anxiety. I appreciate everyone for being kind.
