Barrel Creek Kennel

We adopted our puppy about a year ago, a healthy mini schnauzer, and he is the best decision we have made. He is sweet, super friendly, extroverted, chill, and of course playful. I met so many mini schnauzer parents that complain of their dog not being kid friendly and I have to say the early days are crucial. Our puppy had early exposure to puppies of different weeks because the kennel had puppies from 3 dogs within weeks of each other and if I recall correctly kids too. Those little details are very important and make a great impact in your puppy personality development. Highly recommend this place.

I have gotten 2 rat terriers from Barrel Creek. Both dogs were very healthy and well cared for. The kennel is NOT a puppy mill. I highly recommend this kennel to anyone wanting to buy a pure breed dog. I hope to buy another dog from them as well. Ernest T. Bass is the dog in the photo, also one of the smartest dogs I have ever owned!

15 and a half years ago I picked up 2 new members of the family. Miniature schnauzers. What a blessing and wonderful addition. I remember picking them up a few weeks before Christmas. They had destroyed the Christmas tree. I lost the last one a week ago. They are back together now. What a great 15+ years.

Bought is a terrible choice of words, even though we did buy a male schnauzer a little over 2 years ago, he is one of the family and we would not claim ownership because he has his own beds, yes beds, multiple stuffed toys, 2 water bowels, 2 food bowels, his own travel bag, dog seat belts, and a special diet that keeps him active and healthy, So , who, owns who. Ilene, the owner , of the kennel is a very nice person and is very helpful in picking the right puppy for you if you have a hard decision in just picking one. Believe me when you see a litter, it is so hard to take just one, I wanted them all.
