Barks & Wildlife Retreat

We dont travel much and when we do we usually bring our 3 pups with. unfortunately this time was a last minute trip and we were unable to bring our dogs with us. I called around got recommendation all were nice but did not meet our needs. BARKS & WILDLIFE checked all the boxes for us. We were able to keep all our dogs together, had the ability to check up on the dogs via Webcam and was able to administer medication to one of our dogs that has allergies. The staff is super friendly and answered all my questions ( i had alot). We were so nervous about leaving the dog but aftet talking to the staff i wasnt anymore. Once we got there my dogs went out on the yard.My dogs loved the yard they got to play in. Our reservation was only for 4 days but with the storm coming on the day we should retur

Barks & Rec do a really good job caring for our dog. We've been going here for almost 2 years. I love that they have cameras and that they send pix throughout the stay to show pix of him playing. We have also used their day care services & grooming! I really appreciate their care for our pup! 🐶❤️

Amazing! This was my first time ever boarding a pet so I was super nervous. I couldn’t ask for a better place to relax me. From the constant updates and photos to the 24 hour web cam I am beyond pleased with how Deuce was cared for! Would definitely recommend to anyone! Your pet will be taken care by the whole staff!

This dog boarding place is really wonderful! I boarded my two large dogs over the week. They had never been boarded in a place like this, and my dogs are a lot to handle. I was so worried since they are big, high energy, and high maintenance. Their breeds are XL German Shepherd and a Pitty. My dogs loved it there! The staff took amazing care of them. They played fetch, ran around, and had plenty of room in the kennels! The kennels are large with an indoor AC area and an outdoor area, and raised beds were provided. The dogs can go in and out whenever they want. I loved the live video cameras and I checked on them regularly. The staff sent me photos and videos of them playing and were great at communicating with me. It was a great value and I will 100% be boarding my dogs there again!

I had an amazing experience with them! They took care of our babies Miesha and Rebel. It was my first time leaving my babies in a boarding so I was very nervous, but they were excellent with their communication, from answering questions before we dropped them off, to photos and access 24/7 to their suite camera during their Stay. This gave me and husband a great peace of mind while we traveled. The staff was wonderful, they really care, and I really felt like my babies had fun with the other dogs, socializing, and with the staff while being there. They will be back!!
