Bark Avenue Deland Grooming

Great Service. Been coming here for a few months for my Maltese puppy. She always comes back to me calm and pampered. Arina does a good job of sending my update photos throughout the grooming and asking questions about the groom to ensure it’s what I want for my puppy. Already got my next groom booked!

Update: Removing some stars as this new groomer didn’t do a good job and perhaps didn’t understand how a doodle should be groomed (2d pic) Daisy was getting a little too floofy and smelled not great so I finally made an appointment for her first grooming appointment here in Florida. After reading lots of reviews about groomers near me, I chose Kyla and she did a marvelous job on my nervous mini Goldendoodle (1st pic).

I can’t say enough great things about Bark Avenue! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can immediately tell they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. My dog Tina can sometimes be a little particular about grooming, but they handled her with so much patience and kindness that she was completely comfortable. When I picked her up, she looked absolutely amazing—clean, perfectly groomed, and smelling fantastic. They paid attention to all the little details, and Tina came home happy and relaxed, which says a lot. It’s such a relief to find a grooming salon you can truly trust with your dog. Bark Avenue clearly takes pride in their work and treats every dog like their own. Tina and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Do NOT recommend this grooming store, nor the owner, Arina, who also works at the Bark Avenue in Deltona! After many months of having both my Sheltie & Samoyed “groomed”, she decided to upcharge me, stating my Samoyed doesn’t come every 4 weeks, therefore, her excuse to increase the grooming fee by $50+, which a Samoyed isn’t a breed that needs a constant bath due to their double-coat, however, it’s important to keep them brushed/combed etc., which my dogs are always well kept, their coats maintained, but she can’t keep employees who are knowledgeable groomers, hence, the reason she only works at the DeLand store now only on Mondays, but she decided to raise the price of their groom fee, twice in 2 months, however, my main concern is the fact that, as I picked up my Sheltie, at his last

Beyond ecstatic with my experience here. I brought my 6 month old (idk what she is) puppy here because I heard they were great with all ages of dogs. She mainly needed her nails done and is usually terrified but they managed to do them and use the electric one on her too!!! She needed a full bath as well and I could tell she was so happy after it. The staff are all amazing. I booked my appointment with Skyla and she took such great care of my puppy and was super respectful over the phone and in person. Arina is the manager I believe and I got to meet her as well, also super respectful and the pricing was fair. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thankyou!!
