Banfield Pet Hospital

This location is nice. However, the doctors dont show a lot of compassion for the animals overall health. They act as if there are no signs, then the animal is fine. I don't agree with that. I lost a cat due to their incorrect care. Banfield also doesn't care if your pet dies. You still have to pay your plan. I hate this company.

Received a message that my cat was found and located at this location by his microchip on saturday. So excited and ready to be reunited again with Rocky just to have our hearts ripped out by this horrible place. They told me saturday they could not tell me anything about him because the people that dropped him off didnt give consent. I told them he was stolen from us and we want him back. Was told it would have to go to their higher ups whatever that means and i would get a call next week. Called this morning to check on him and find out they gave him back to the people that brought him in. They did not hold him there like they promised or even call to to notify me he was gone. We found out about Banfield from our son, where he takes his pup.. We just started taking our pup here and it's been a great experience. The vets & staff are all very kind and understanding, super helpful and have great wellness & payment plans to help keep our pup in good health, quick appt times to get things taken care of. Lots of locations especially if you travel or go out of town and need help, or can't get into your local, you have options. Communication is on point, reminders of anything coming up, you set up your accounts online and/or with the app, and you're notified. It's a great place, prices are affordable, and they work with you. Whatever you do, do not come here. They used to be pretty good, but I think they must have changed ownership in early 2024. You can’t get anything other than a drop off, and where that didn’t used to be a problem, now it’s pulling teeth to get them to tell you anything. I usually wait until the 5 hours benchmark and call them and demand to talk to someone. Mind you they do this even if they just need a few shots. I’ve never had them there less than 6 hours the last year, no matter what for. Which is not great when you have responsibilities in life. Which, with their bills (even with the expensive wellness plans that they don’t tell you lock you into a 1 year contract) will require you to have considerable income, so just plan on taking a whole day off work for each appointment because they
