Banfield Pet Hospital

I went here about a week ago. & left very very disappointed. I was told by one of the nurses over the phone, that I can bring my 4 month old kitty in to get his claws clipped without his vaccination. The lady, which I believe it was the African American lady, because I recognized her voice when she greeted me, literally put me on hold to get confirmation before telling me i can bring him in. I informed them that his appointment is in 2 weeks with Tally Spay, I just needed a claw trim because his claws were extremely sharp! I get there, everything was fine, until the one girl with the black hair, I would say she was in her 20’s, began to help me out after i finished the paper work. My boyfriend and I came in from out of town and our dog Hannah had got cut on her foot that was pretty nasty. We took her in and the entire visit, Hannah had a smile on her face. She’s so scared of the vet and she has bad anxiety, but this visit was the exception. She wasn’t once nervous and she even left with a smile on her face. It isn’t a typical Banfield, white coat environment. It was very pleasant and Hannah says “Thank up for the treat. I’m sorry I left crumbs on your floor. “

I truly appreciate this facility. The staff is always polite, caring, and attentive when it comes to my baby. When I experienced the loss of my other pet, they went above and beyond by sending a thoughtful letter of condolence, which meant so much to me during that difficult time. Their kindness and compassion really set them apart. I am grateful for the way Banfield’s cares for my pets and highly recommend them to anyone who wants loving and supportive care for their furry family members.

We love Banfield and their wellness plan. The vets give you results of the visit and what your pet needs. Love the reminders and follow up calls are nice. Thanks to everyone for all you do.

Really odd they want you to drop your cat off for a general health preventative visit. My cat is 20 years old and has been going to veterinarians (across 4 states) for many many years. She's always been assessed in the room in front of me by an actual veterinarian. It seems like a sneaky tactic to get in as many services as possible and upcharge.
