Banfield Pet Hospital

This entire experience was a mess of lying, gaslighting, poor communication, and blatant disregard for both pets and owners. If you want to waste your entire day, be talked down to, lied to repeatedly, and have your pet stressed and mishandled with no accountability, this is the place to go. Had an appointment scheduled for 1:30 PM, and my pet was taken to the back almost immediately. After that, we were left sitting in the waiting room for hours with absolutely no updates. My pet was not brought back out or meaningfully addressed until around 4:30 PM. During this time, we watched multiple people arrive after us, drop their pets off, and have their pets fully seen and returned while ours remained in the back with no communication whatsoever. So disappointing... I made an appointment here for my 13 year old cat who's currently having mobility problems, and I'm afraid he's in pain. I took him to this clinic this morning and checked him in, at which point no one touched him. I was asked questions, but he wasn't examined. I delivered him as early as I was told I could, 7:45, which caused me to be tremendously late for work. From that point to the end of the day, I didn't receive any indication that there was a problem. This is, until my wife went to collect him around 5:00, was told that he was too aggressive to examine today, provided Gabapentin, charged $85, and told to bring him back tomorrow. Yet another Banfield full to the brim with inept wannabe vet techs. 4 hours later and our cat hasn’t even been seen yet. They acted like they cared by calling in the morning saying they had an earlier appointment which we took. Turns out, it was just more convenient for the company to bring our cat in and leave him in the back while they go to lunch than to just let us keep our original appointment. This is always been one of those businesses that don’t understand how to work with customers. A business of this magnitude has the resources and bandwidth to take on the brunt of this inconvenience, that should never be passed on to the individual consumer. Bad business, bad excuses, just a whole load of BS. Banfield is a such a joke.

The nicest, sweetest vets and techs work in this clinic! My Frenchie had an emergency and they took and amazing care of her, informing me promptly of every step of her treatment. I was impressed with the level of care and concern. Thank you
