Banfield Pet Hospital

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this pet hospital and feel compelled to share my complaint to warn others. During my first visit, I specifically mentioned that my dog had something concerning on his skin, located on his left front lower body. Shockingly, despite my dog being there for a full 6 hours, no one at the hospital could find or address it—even though my wife and I could still clearly see it later that same day. It's unbelievable that trained professionals overlooked something so obvious. Things only got worse when my wife took our dog in today for an in-room appointment, which I had specifically chosen because I didn't want to do a drop-off. Banfield at Foothill Ranch has been my choice of Veterinary care for decades. The veterinarians and staff have given my pets exceptional care. Dr Sam Amirashi is especially caring and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this hospital for all your fur babies😻🐶

SAM AMIRSHAHI and the VET STAFF at Banfield Foothill Ranch always do a superb job with my dog and are highly clinically competent. They always take the time to provide me with an accurate, specific description of any health issues that my dog has, and identify available courses of treatment.

I brought my dog for his comprehensive exam which was included with the very expensive Pet Wellness plan. Which is total of $600 a year and my dog only visit the clinic once maybe twice a year. If you cancel the plan they will charge you about the same amount. Having the wellness plan is not worth your hard earned money if your pet only visit the clinic once or twice a year. Banfield also charges $24 for nail cut and additional $20 for nail grind! ???? Absurd!!!!

I do not recommend taking your pet here. I had been a loyal customer for 13 years until yesterday. The place has gone down hill in the last year. They don't honor appointment times at all. My 13-year-old dog has a heart condition and she hates going to vet. She shakes the entire time. Our appointment time was 4:30 yesterday. We never got seen! I waited over 25 minutes next to the front desk. Finally the front desk person brought my dog and I back to a room after I complained about the wait. The room was filthy and there was a dirty towel on the floor. I waited another 10 minutes and decided to leave. The front desk person called me later that evening and said the manager offered to get me in tomorrow. I said no thanks we are finding another vet asap. Why didn't the manager call me? This
