Did private puppy training through Balanced k9. Josh is VERY knowledgeable, helped guide me on how to go about training my pup, any questions I had not just about pup behaviors but also with food options and fence options. I decided to bring my dog mason to Balanced K9 Training mostly for learning commands and recall. After mason’s two week training I have noticed a few areas of major improvement. Mason walks very close to me with very rare pulls on the leash. I can let him out in the yard to run around and when I call him in he comes immediately. After meeting Josh I was very impressed with his knowledge of dogs and the different behaviors dog hold based on their breed. I have been very pleased with what this training has done for my dog and would recommend to everyone.

I worked with Josh to train my dog, Belle, and am so impressed with his technique and his results. She was a tough nut to crack as she’s easily distracted and not food motivated, but Josh understood her behaviors and was able to work with her successfully regardless! We now have very well behaved dog who listens to the commands we sought training for. Josh has a great working plan to train from the ground up but is also able to pivot and adapt to your and your dog’s needs. I highly recommend working with him!

My husband and I never had a dog of our own as adults. We found a dog that was a rescue from Texas that was dropped off in the woods and we were thinking of taking him in but he was wild, did not listen, hyper and stubborn. After having multiple recommendations of Josh's work we contacted him and got in right away. Fast forward Max is the sweetest, calm, obedient dog. All of our family and friends are amazed that it's the same dog. Josh taught all of us my husband, myself and our dog. I can't recommend his services enough!
