Sara is extremely knowledgeable and professional. My wife and I are both new to dog ownership and didn’t know anything about dog training or dog psychology. Sara was tremendously helpful in teaching our dog obedience and more importantly, teaching us how to behave around our dog for the best results. Molly, our golden retriever, absolutely loved Sara, and loved going to play with the other dogs at Bakers Acres. 10/10 recommend and extremely happy and satisfied with the results.

UPDATE(03/29/2025): Sara has been everything we could have ever wanted from a trainer! Our dog’s behavior has improved immensely and we get compliments from our families and friends about how well behaved they are now! Here are my favorite things about Baker’s Acres: 1. She has a google classroom where you can learn at your own pace. It’s extremely organized with documents and corresponding videos that show you how to do what she teaches. This has been a great resource for us! 2. She has many avenues for communication with other clients. This is great, because when we started this training I felt like we were alone in our feelings of failure as a dog owner. It’s great to talk to people going through the same thing as you! 3. Our dog, Susanna, came into our lives at an unexpected time. She was a lot to handle as a four month old, 30+ pound puppy. Over- loving our grandchildren, scratching, nibbling, and jumping on everyone and everything in sight.And talking her for walks was enough to make me feel like I’d made a mistake in getting a dog. Our neighbor recommended Sara at Bakers Acres. We took her advice and had the most amazing experience. In a very short time, we had a new dog. She instantly respected Sara, and Sara passed her knowledge onto us. Sara is amazing in private, home-based lessons and in the wonderful group classes she provides as part of her program. . We could not be more grateful to her for how well Susanna is responding to her training—and treating the grandkids!!

Sara has a wealth of knowledge for any training request. Amazing control over our dog from the get go. Directs each session with a focus on solutions for our dog's needs. Encourages our participation at all times. Our dog is so much better behaved than when we started. Highly recommended!

Sara is not a dog trainer she is a dog wizard! The first time she stepped into our yard, without saying one word, just her vibe and presence alone immediately calmed our excitable and overly friendly jumpy dog, Ginger. I’m a marriage and family therapist and use Ginger as a therapy dog in my office every day, and she is also the #ChalkBus mascot and goes all my events. Thus, we really needed Ginger to learn how to be calm and read different people’s comfort around dogs. Everyone always compliments us on how well-behaved Ginger is. We have Sara to thank for that. Sara is knowledgeable, experienced, patient, and takes all the time you need to educate you and help you feel capable and successful. I recommend her all the time to everyone.
