Tried calling to ask if they have emergency services available for a cat, the guy on the phone only responded by saying “$300”. never asked what the emergency was, or showed concern at all, just reduced my animal to a price. immediately unhelpful and discouraging, do better.

Nice people who will take good care of your pets. They are good listeners and will try to figure out what's wrong with your pet

We have our "granddoggers" in town visiting and one of them picked up a urinary tract infection. BV Vet Clinic was so easy to work with, the staff was absolutely amazing! I truly appreciated the way they worked with us to help our poor sick girl and will go back to them any time we need a vet in Storm Lake!!

I have been taking my pets for care since I was a small child, in the 1970's. At that time, it was run by Dr's. Pewsey, and Dr. Mead. Both excellent vets. They were always diagnosed correctly, and treated kindly, and correctly. What I experienced just yesterday, was beyond asinine. I brought in my old cat to be euthanized for some tumors that he had, and were removed a couple of times, but grew back. The Dr that removed those was very good to my cat, It was time to take away his suffering. I called for a time to come in with my cat, who was terrified, as we had to sit in that tiny front room with anywhere from 5-10 dogs and a cat or two. I would not recommend this vet to anyone! Our dog was neutered back on August 9. He stopped eating and has been having episodes of diarrhea and vomiting about a week after the surgery and hasn’t been acting like himself. He is 13 months old. We called last night and spoke with the vet and he said it didn’t sound like a blockage but he definitely wanted us to bring him in to be seen and be checked out. He said he could come out to our house for $300+ whatever he found out was wrong with him or we could call in the morning and make an appointment to have him be seen immediately. We decided we would just call in the morning and make an appointment to have him be seen immediately. We called right when they opened and they told us he couldn’t be seen until Friday!
