This place would not take a kitten for Pete's sake the lady that answered the phone was rude and the manager that I spoke to told me to drop the poor kitten off at a barn. It was so sad that this kitten was starving and clearly belonged to someone because it understood the words come on and it wanted under covers. Its sad how avoyelles parish does not care about the animals in its parish. Sad sad sad.

I have searched TX, AR, and every Animal Shelter, Humane Society, Adoption sites for Dogs within the state of LA finally happened to come across this little small town that has a special ❤️ for those animals who are in their care until adoption. They go above & beyond. 💫

They told me they would help a me rescue a dog that was in danger he was tied up so tight he could not get to water or food. I've been calling for three days. I guess they lied. Waste of time and still no help!

Very polite staff, if they don’t know they will help you find the best solution or direct you to the proper place.staff are kind and patient.

They are are a non kill shelter and all there animals for adoption are well takin care of and friendly
