I can't thank your team enough for all you did to help Jackie and I. I had been in the thick of it with his crisis for several months and it was just the hardest thing for me to accept losing my best buddy. Almost 7 years is a long time and we loved being together. It was clear to me and no doubt - God's supernatural mercy and grace that we made it to your clinic exactly on time to be delivered from our pain. The kindness, patience and consideration was top class and the highest of value. Thank you.
I cannot recommend them enough. My ferret went in needing extensive care, surgery, and medical attention. Although they are not a 24/7 care facility they took such good care of my boy. Dr. Stewart went above and beyond to try and save my boy Fritz, and while the heartbreaking decision to lay him to rest was made, the staff and care we recieved could not have been better. Dr. Stewart put him to sleep, wrapped him up, put flowers on him, kept telling me he was sorry. And this was all on a Saturday when they're supposed to be closed. Thank you so much for your care and empathy.
Absolutely wonderful! They got me in very quickly. I drove an hour and a half to this place with my parrot Ato to get established and my experience from the get go was awesome. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly..and when I called back same. When I arrived the hospital was CLEAN...no bad odors, nicely decorated and pleasant. I had a hard time finding it but its my first time in Roanoke. Dr. Stewart was extremely pleasant and caring. Didn't talk down to me like some veterinarians do. He explained everything in depth. They kept me in the loop of his progress. I left him for about half an hour while they took his blood, etc and i was COMFORTABLE doing that. I instantly felt i could trust him. I am VERY happy that I found this hospital and I'd recommend them. My parrot is 47
Everyone was incredibly kind, and the vet displayed the patience of a saint. I bombarded him with questions about my red-footed tortoise—probably enough to write a novel—and he answered each one without batting an eye. He took great care of Maple, and his staff were just as knowledgeable and welcoming. The office receptionist was also pleasant over the phone, which gave me the confidence and peace of mind to schedule the visit. She also gave me some tips for safely transporting my Maple in the extreme cold weather.
We took our female Guinea multiple times leading up to her oophorectomy (ovaries removed). We have no complaints with any of the staff. They were very sweet and helping! They always answered our questions and helped us along the way. Our issue is Dr. Didn’t know our Guinea was pregnant when they performed a major surgery… she would’ve been a month pregnant! Her two week checkup (which is how we were told she was pregnant..) we then were told she needed emergency hysterectomy because these babies were not viable. We were questioned why she was pregnant. And even told that the Dr. Didn’t know how it was missed: her being pregnant pre-surgery and post-op..Even though the day her last litter was born we separated father from her! We understand they breed fast but we were not purposely making
