Auburn Hills Animal Hospital

I’ve been going here for over 2 years now. I drive over an hour one way to get to this vet on a regular basis for my animals. I’ve owned over 5 dogs at a time for the larger portion of my adult life and I always struggled to find a vet that I believed had a genuine care for animals over their overall profits. I understand a vet clinic is a business but there is more to it for me than that. Auburn has been nothing short of the most professional, compassionate, loving caretakers you could ever ask for. I’ve approached the staff with issues other vets wouldn’t even consider doing. They took the challenge head on and never once made me feel like I was an inconvenience unlike other vets for even asking. The Doctors at Auburn Hills Animal hospital are top notch. We have bred German Shepherds and Petite Goldendoodle’s for years. They are our family and we wouldn’t just trust them to just anyone. Their team is excellent!

Dr. David Hargarten is truly exceptional. He was honest, friendly, and incredibly caring from the moment we walked in. Our dog Tucker has a very complex diagnosis and even developed pneumonia — a situation that could have easily taken his life. Dr. Hargarten acted quickly, confidently, and with so much compassion. Because of his fast response and expertise, Tucker is still here with us today. We were also pleasantly surprised when we received the bill. It was more than fair, and it showed that this clinic genuinely cares about the animals and families they serve, not just the bottom line. We are so grateful for Dr. Hargarten and staff. Grateful for everything he did for our boy. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. Highly, highly recommend.

If I could give 10 stars I would!! I will be fuurrever grateful to this vet for helping out fur baby Kash. I literally called over 20 animal hospitals to get my boy emergency surgery and NOBODY seemed to care except for Auburn Hills.. they got us in same day and saved him! I highly suggest this place. Also they were kind and sympathetic as son as I walked in I knew we were safe!!

Auburn Hills accepted my dog for an emergency surgey saturday morning when my own primary vet turned me away. Erin at the front desk was so kind to me when I called and Dr. Therese did an excellent job on his surgery. The techs were so kind and understanding when I picked him up. They went over information and his medications with me before sending us home. Auburn Hills absolutely saved us this weekend and I will be forever changing primary care providers <3
