Dr. Baumgartner is simply outstanding. He is compassionate, great diagnostician and prices are very fair. They are very good getting your pet and an appointment quickly. We've used him for years with multiple pets. His TEAM is friendly and caring and makes you feel very welcome.

We bring our dog Skippy here, and we absolutely adore the staff! They are so caring and compassionate, and always prioritize seeing their patients as soon as possible, even sending follow up messages to check on treatment plans. We are so grateful for them and all that they do in the name of taking care of animals!

These people are great. They're so kind, so good to the pets and they listen very well. They want to know details before they arrive at a conclusion. Some clinics don't listen or interrupt while you're speaking. These people are great. I have seen two of the vets at this location and they are both excellent and wonderful with my dog. He's a puppy, Atlantic Vet was his first excursion for any pet care and we have been back many times. The dog simply doesn't mind going back because everybody is so good there. In regard to the billing, before you even get your butt back out to your car you already have your payment receipt and detailed transaction so all you need to do is attach it to your pet Insurance / maintenance account and off it goes. Really nice people here who treat dogs with great care and kindness. My dog is excited and runs happily inside. A testament to the treatment he receives every time. Everyone is gentle and makes sure he doesn’t fear getting shots or other procedures.

I wish to thank the timely care and compassion received from the staff at AVH Sun. 4/27/25, had to make the difficult decision to let my beloved pet go. I was scheduled immediately, had full control of how long I could spend with her and say goodbye. They are open on weekends, far better schedule than my own Dr.!
