Athens Vet Clinic is amazing. The front desk staff and vet techs are always wonderful and helpful. Dr Kochar is amazing. She has a calm, soothing vibe about her. She isn’t bothered by the hissy and growly kitty. She always texts to check on your animal to make sure they’re getting better and the treatment is working. 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Dr. Case gave Maizey a complete exam and asked appropriate questions regarding her history. We never felt rushed. Dr. Case was very knowledgeable. Rates are reasonable!

I had to switch my two cats to a different vet just so they could get the help they needed. Both of my cats were experiencing coughing fits that were slowly becoming more frequent. So I made an appointment with Dr. Kochert. The first time I came in, she did not run any tests and only did a physical exam. At the end she found nothing, and told me to try this flea medicine to see if the issue stops, I said okay and gave it a go. We tried the medicine for over 2 months, but the coughing fits never stopped. I scheduled another appointment to get them looked at again, it was with Dr.Kochert again. During this appointment no tests were completed or any examinations whatsoever, she then tells me its "probably just lungworms" and asks me to try the expensive flea medicine again. I inherited a cat recently, and he got sick before I had a chance to take him anywhere and get established as a patient. They got him in quickly and got him feeling better in no time. They were very nice and didn't shame me for not having a full medical history like a lot of places do these days. The prices were discussed with me, and a plan was made for his treatment with me. I appreciate that they included me in the plan, and I understood everything, including the cost. We will be going back for his routine care as soon as he is done with his treatment and healthy. It is close to home also, which is helpful as most cats are not big fans of riding in the car.

Friendly staff. I felt my cat was very well taken care of. I liked getting an update on her right after her surgery, before pick up. I felt very informed of my decisions regarding her health.
