At Home Veterinary Care

My husband and I just recently adopted a dog from this vet! I have nothing but FANTASTIC things to say. To start, every staff member I encountered were just so extremely kind and professional to us. The dog was also very well taken care of. I received all the necessary paper work for adoption, and paid a very affordable adoption fee. He was fully vaccinated, bathed, neutered, nails trimmed etc!!! He also got lots of exercise and play time rather than being cooped up while waiting to be adopted . I can tell that the owner (Dr. Blount) is extremely passionate about all animals, and her establishment is just awesome she should be proud!! Thank you to At Home Veterinary care! We are so grateful that we have a new member of our family! Thank you for making the process a great experience! ❤️

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is by far the most unprofessional and poorly managed vet in Tallahassee. The communication is terrible, and it seems like no one is on the same page, especially Jeremy, who is beyond rude. I called yesterday and spoke with Jessica to confirm what time Winston needed to arrive for his grooming appointment. She did not know and said someone would call me back. No one ever did. So I called again this morning to ask the same question, only to be told very abruptly by Jeremy that Winston had to be there by 10 AM. If even Jessica did not know that, how would I? Then after putting me on hold, Jeremy returned and said the best they could do is Monday because they cannot groom all dogs at one time. It was 10:09 AM while I was being told this. Completely u

Beautiful facility that sits on water and by trees. The agility training area faces the water. For boarding there is an Activity Director. Your dog can be with fast or slower paced dogs/activities. There are basic kennels all the way up to large villas. Dr. Blount also provides her medical care. She's very nice and cares deeply for her pets. Don't believe the negative posts that she is basically "mean". There's a few former employees here that are trying to hurt her reputation. Tally is not large, so, any bad Vet will not stay in business long. It's not the cheapest place, but, if you like a bit of extras you'll love it. Oh, she takes the voucher for spaying. Overall, I am very pleased. My sweet Pearl is there over Christmas right now.

Dr Blount has taken care of my dog from a frisky frightened pup to the old man he is now. She has also taken care of my daughter's pug and Yorkie who were both rescues with many problems. She has always been attentive to their needs even when they may have seemed strange and always treated our concerns with respect. I am grateful for the help she has given us over the last 13 years.

I had to have my sweet 16 yr old kitty put to sleep,and as we all know this is so very hard for most of us. Dr Blount was so wonderful in her compassion and empathy. She explained everything,let me take my time with the process. The room was clean,bright and sunny. Her assistant was kind and caring. The desk staff very efficient and helpful.
