We loved our visit. The animals were amazing! You must meet the critically endangered Poitous Donkeys and of course Sabago The largest mule in the US, 18.2 hands and so sweet. These folks work hard and love what they do.

A great place to go to. We felt welcome at their farm. It shows that their animals are well taken care of and loved. Very informative on where the animals came from.

We had a great time visiting the animals and the owners were so nice and informative!! These French Poitou donkeys are a very rare species. We were delighted to meet and pet Misty, Quiche, Ichabod, and Snowball. There's also another mammoth mule and other horses, ducks, geese, dogs, and cats. My family was so happy here. Very close to the Old Stone House and observation deck with panoramic view. Beautiful countryside all around. Only 15 minutes from Newport or Lake Willoughby.

I was really depressed last Monday, hopped in my car not knowing where I was going or if I planned on coming home. Then I found this sanctuary two hours away, and impulsively decided to drive their and see some animals because they make me happy. It was amazing and every single creature on that farm was so friendly and calm with people around. By the time I got home I was feeling so much better, played games with my husband and ate cake. All in all, a birthday I’m grateful for. Thank you so much ❤️
