Love Dr. Costuma & staff!! They were able to see my rescue Baron after hours. He is a very skittish, cautious dog, but the Ark Staff always treats him with patience and understanding. I’ve been going here for over 20+ years with many past and present dogs, they always take such awesome care of all my rescues. I know it’s hard to find a good, caring and reliable vet/staff, so I highly suggest ARK for your veterinary needs. :)

Ark Animal Hospital is amazing! We moved from San Diego so it’s always nerve wracking switching to a new vet but we knew we found that right one as soon as we got Cooper in for his first check up. Staff was so warm and welcoming and instantly made us feel comfortable to have cooper there. The space is super clean and quite which we love since it doesn’t feel to overwhelming for us and cooper. Overall, amazing experience and are so happy we found our home vet :)

Love all the staff at Ark Animal Hospital. They are friendly, professional and seem to genuinely care about ones’ pet. On two different occasions they were able to secure an appt for me when I needed it for an issue with my dog. Dr. Costuma is the best especially when explaining issues or procedures. I have been a customer/dog mom with Dr. Costuma for over 20 years.

Ark Animal Hospital is amazing. They are incredibly caring and friendly. My sweet dog just got diagnosed with diabetes last month and it has been a challenge to get him on the right insulin dosage. The staff has been so helpful every step of the way. From the day I brought him in with my initial concerns, they took me very seriously, took his urine and blood, and contacted me with the results within the two days. Dr. Costuma called me with the diagnosis and showed real compassion and empathy. When I saw him in person the following day, he continued the compassion and talked me through it. He reassured me that diabetes is not preventable and nothing was my or my husband’s fault. He thoroughly explained treatment, where and how to purchase insulin and syringes, and what to expect. I love Ark animal hospital! The Dr and all the staff are kind and informative. They don’t push unnecessary procedures. Just straight forward. The best part (I have a very anxious Frenchie) and he’s much less anxious coming here vs. the vet we’ve been going to…. It’s a vibe and my boy is way calmer. Everyone here puts off a calm, caring vibe. The last vet we were seeing my boy would practically hyperventilate every single time and it put him in great distress. Anyway the only reason I gave 4* is bcuz it’s kind of hard to get in to see the Doc quickly but the technicians are great!
